Squanch Games’ High on Life Now Available on PlayStation

Announced at San Diego Comic-Con, Squanch Games’ High on Life is now available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 platforms. The game, originally launched in December on PC and Xbox Series consoles, is now making its way to Sony’s platforms.

“We have been thrilled with the reception of High on Life since its launch in December. However, our PlayStation fans have been waiting patiently, and we’re excited to finally bring it to them,” said Mike Fridley, Squanch’s studio director.

About High on Life

High on Life, a comedy first-person shooter, lets players team up with talking guns to defeat an alien cartel that threatens humanity. It was initially released for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC in December 2022.

Record-Breaking Launch

High on Life’s launch broke several engagement records. Microsoft reported it as the biggest release of 2022 on its subscription service, the largest third-party launch ever, and the most significant single player-only game release.

Upcoming DLC: High on Knife

Squanch Games recently announced DLC for High on Life. Titled High on Knife, it takes the game in a horror-comedy direction, set two years after the main game’s events. Players will control Knifey, a bloodthirsty melee weapon voiced by Michael Cusack, and meet Harper, a new character/gun voiced by Sarah Sherman from Saturday Night Live.

High on Knife will be available for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation consoles later this year.
