A modder has raised concerns about Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection allegedly using his work without permission.

Before the game was released, modder Iamashaymin noticed footage in a trailer that seemed to feature his mod. Developer Aspyr later admitted to mistakenly using his work as a placeholder in the trailer. However, players have now found evidence that the game shipped with the uncredited mod work before a last-minute patch.

Recent gameplay footage on Reddit showed a player using Asajj Ventress with animations that looked like Iamashaymin’s mod. Although the current version has removed these animations, Aspyr has not addressed how the modder’s work ended up in the game, despite their claims of using no uncredited work in the remaster project.

Following criticism of the game’s launch, Aspyr has urged players to report any issues they encounter. The game, released on Thursday, has received significant backlash on social media and Steam, where only 19% of user ratings are positive.

Players have reported issues with limited PC servers at launch, causing problems for the large player base. Aspyr is working to increase network stability and address these concerns to prevent further disruptions.

Players are encouraged to report bugs and unexpected behaviors to the support team for assistance. Aspyr is dedicated to improving the game and ensuring a better experience for all players.
