“In the TOP 3 of my favorite games”

For three days now (nine for those who purchased the Deluxe Edition) players have been able to explore the confines of space on Starfield, the latest from Bethesda widely awaited by fans of the studio. The title offers you an extraordinary adventure by joining Constellation, an independent organization of space explorers who go in search of strange artifacts. From this postulate, you can then take the path of your choice. Like other games from the studio, Starfield is a rich game, a vast RPG that offers a wide range of possibilities.

In any case, the software is not necessarily unanimous, as its predecessors were able to do. Beyond the completely insane pseudo-console war, Starfield often divides the players who posed the main on it so far. And it happens also that these same players completely change their minds after several dozen hours of play. This is precisely the case of David Jaffe, the creator of God of War, who had initially expressed several reservations towards the game before completely going back on his words.

Starfield: “They lied by omission!” Has Bethesda kept all these promises?

A bit of everything and nothing at the same time

A few days later, David Jaffe went even further, declaring that Starfield was “the best single-player game” he had ever played. An absolutely rave opinion, which clearly shows the potential of the game. However, the software is not without its flaws, which players tend to highlight with more or less ardor. Ultimately, what shines through the most is probably the archaic side of the title, which seems to rely too much on Bethesda’s aging achievements. It is possible that Starfield offers you an exceptional, rich, and gripping adventure that will keep you busy for many hours. But on the other hand, you might also feel like you’re barely scratching the surface of the game’s vastness and getting lost in tedious menus rather than in the far reaches of space. But ultimately, as David Jaffe said very well, if the game attracts you, all you have to do is try it to form your own opinion.
