Xbox One, Windows 10 PCs and Xbox Game Pass Players – Are You Ready for The Eliminator ?!
To celebrate our fantastic fans, we bring you the all-new, Battle Royale-inspired racing game mode The Eliminator, which will be released for free in the Series 17 update to Forza Horizon 4 today at 10:00. The Eliminator invites up to 72 players to compete against each other in an arena in the open world of Britain and to eliminate each other in direct races to receive new upgrades and the chance for faster cars. The walls of the arena contract as the game progresses, forcing players closer together until a final White Knuckle race among the survivors determines the winner.
All competitors start in a 1965 Mini Cooper. To win The Eliminator, you need to search the beautiful open world of Britain for car drops that allow for an instant upgrade or challenge other drivers to duel racing. Once challenged, there is no turning back, as the game selects a finish line and both drivers have to go to the start to get there first. The loser leaves the game and the winner has a choice: he upgrades his car to a stronger one or steals his opponent’s car.
You can hide until the end, but be careful as the walls of the arena move fast! Stay stuck outside and you will be eliminated. If you manage to survive until the arena reaches its final size, the final showdown begins and all surviving players must race to the finish line. The first driver there is declared the eliminator.
The Eliminator launches its own mini-campaign and rewards that players can unlock, including the exclusive Renault Mégane R26.R 2008, the pre-order version Porsche 911 GT3 RS 2016 and the Mercury Cougar Eliminator 1970, as well as the Eliminator character clothing.
