The Texas Chain Saw Massacre Update 1.15 PATCH NOTES

Tuned: Julie’s Proximity Aura

  • We have adjusted Julie’s Proximity Aura to match the other Victims. Now, her Proximity Aura radius is slightly smaller.

Tuned: Nancy’s Wait a Second Perk

  • The perk Wait a Second has been tuned to make it more effective. Victims ensnared in Nancy’s barbed wire will now wait 3/5/8 seconds before being able to remove it, compared to the previous 10/15/20 seconds.

Changed: Credits Added for Cissy Jones and Michael Johnston

  • Credits have been added for Cissy Jones and Michael Johnston, who voice the characters Nancy and Danny, respectively. Cissy Jones does both voice acting and motion capture for Nancy, while Michael Johnston voices Danny.

Fixed: Family Members Softlocked

  • The issue where Family members would get softlocked for the rest of a match if stunned while losing stamina has been resolved. This fix applies to being stunned by a doorslam, barged by Leland, and sneak attacked.

Fixed: Choose Fight Perk

  • An issue where the Choose Fight perk at level 3 was not adding 5 seconds of stun duration at the end of a close encounter has been fixed. This issue was previously resolved but reappeared during the February 6th update.

Fixed: Nicotero Chainsaw Audio on Leatherface Variants

  • A problem where the unique Nicotero saw sound was incorrect when equipped on other Leatherface outfits has been fixed. Now, the correct audio will be present when using the Nicotero saw on a non-Nicotero Leatherface.

Fixed: Lobby Timer Countdown Not Showing

  • An issue where players would not see the lobby timer during the 5 seconds before a match launches has been fixed.

Fixed: Lobby Timer Softlocking

  • The problem where players could get softlocked if the lobby timer UI did not trigger and they had the Settings menu open at the start of the match has been resolved.

Fixed: Makin’ Grandpa Proud

  • The issue where Makin’ Grandpa Proud was not unlocking properly has been fixed. However, the achievement will only unlock for base game maps and not on Nancy’s House or The Mill. PS4 players may still experience this issue, and a quick resolution is being worked on.

Fixed: Match Not Ending

  • A bug where games would sometimes not end after the last Victim was killed or disconnected has been fixed.

Fixed: Leland’s Star Sign Ability Description

  • An error in Leland’s Star Sign ability description stating, “Does not affect Leatherface” has been corrected.

Fixed: Twinkle Toes Perk

  • An issue where the Twinkle Toes perk was not functioning properly when Victims ran through bone charms at all levels has been fixed. Twinkle Toes will now work as intended.

Fixed: Stuck Spots on Nancy’s House

  • Issues where Victims would get stuck in a wall after jumping down a well on Nancy’s House leading to the North Tunnel, and where Victims would become stuck on a shelf after being hit off the ladder in Nancy’s Bedroom, have been resolved.

Fixed: Family Members Stuck on Couch in Slaughterhouse

  • The problem where Family members would sometimes get stuck when picking up blood in the Cutting Room has been fixed. The blood bucket has been moved to prevent Family members from becoming stuck.

Fixed: Cook Padlocks

  • A bug where the unlock mini game would sometimes incorrectly remove the main lock instead of Cook’s padlock on an already locked door/gate, preventing Cook from removing the padlock, has been fixed. Now, the first lock to be broken will be Cook’s padlock when Victims attempt to unlock a door with it placed on it.

Fixed: Nancy’s Stamina Bar Refill

  • An issue where Nancy’s stamina bar would sometimes refill without delay when the Wait a Second perk was equipped has been fixed.

Fixed: Users Experiencing Constant Rubberbanding

  • The issue where some players were experiencing brief but consistent rubberbanding during matches has been resolved.

Fixed: Players Softlocked After Disabling Crossplay

  • The problem where players would become softlocked after disabling crossplay while in a crossplay party has been fixed. Now, disabling crossplay while in a crossplay lobby will result in being kicked from the party but no longer becoming softlocked.

Fixed: Leatherface Spawn Point

  • An issue where Leatherface would sometimes spawn outside of the Basement has been fixed.

Fixed: Title Crash During Match Reconnect

  • An issue where Family members would sometimes experience a crash when attempting to reconnect to the match has been resolved.

Fixed: Danny Scream Audio During Opening Cutscene

  • An issue where Leland’s voiceover would play if Danny was featured during the opening cutscene has been fixed. Now, the correct voiceover will be present when Danny is featured.

Fixed: HUD Not Displaying Correctly on HDD

  • An issue where the Player’s HUD would not display properly when installed on an HDD has been fixed.

Fixed: Generator Interaction Prompt

  • An issue where Victim players were able to turn off the generator from the side, resulting in the ability to bypass traps, has been fixed. Victims will now not be able to start the interaction when standing on the side of the generator.

Fixed: Lobby Crash on Slaughterhouse

  • A bug where Lobbies would sometimes crash when a Family Member attacked a Victim climbing down the ladder on the side of the Tool Storage has been fixed.

Fixed: Blood Glow on Slaughterhouse

  • An issue where blood would sometimes have a yellow shine in the Leatherface’s Lair area has been resolved. Now, blood will not shine and will correctly show red in color.
