The Wealth of Baldur’s Gate III
After The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom last May, players looking for adventure can now exult since the release of Baldur’s Gate III. The title from Larian Studios is a real gem for role-players and fans of games with a dense, rich story that transports you entirely to another world of fantasy.
The press like public already salute all the work of the studio which offers us a sumptuous epic in the world of Dungeons and Dragons. But it is also and above all the crazy number of possibilities offered in each situation, each combat, each dialogue that arise during the game that impresses. From one player to another, the experience will be totally different and it is precisely this particularity that appeals so much. He is quite possible to miss characters or events – important or more anecdotal – or even to completely alter the story according to your choices, or the order in which you make your decisions and accomplish, or not, your quests and objectives.
THE secret from the forge
You may be one of those players who, like me, absolutely try not to miss anything and tick the most boxes possible during the game. But be aware that sometimes, at least on Baldur’s Gate III, there are events to which on would prefer not to attend. The one that interests us today is precisely one of them. Pay attention to the following lines if you want to avoid spoilers.
During Act I, you will most certainly arrive at a devastated village, occupied or not according to your choices by goblins. And in this village there is a blacksmith’s house, which, by the way, contains a relatively large quest. As is always the case in Baldur’s Gate III, it is possible access to this house, and in particular son basement, in different ways. As much to say it right away, be careful if you choose to break down the large door of this cellar from which strange noises come: you will interrupt the intimate relationship between a hobgoblin and an ogre!
For obvious reasons, we won’t share the video of this irruption here, but it’s very easy to find it on the web if you are curious. And if you ever try to witness this event within your own game, know that the situation, in addition to being as funny as it is traumatic, leads to a dialogue during which you have different choices. Again beware, car in addition to interrupting the two lovers, you may well have to take their lives.
