Exciting News for Mario Fans: New Games Coming to Nintendo Switch Online!

Get ready, Mario fans! Three new Mario titles are coming to Nintendo Switch Online’s Game Boy library next week. Nintendo has announced these additions as part of their Mario Day celebrations, set to launch on Tuesday, March 12.

The games making their debut on the service are:
– Dr. Mario (Game Boy)
– Mario Golf (Game Boy Color)
– Mario Tennis (Game Boy Color)

In Dr. Mario, players must assist Dr. Mario in eliminating all the pesky viruses in his jar by strategically dropping colored pills on them. Match the colors to clear them out! Due to the Game Boy’s limitations, the pills are displayed in black, white, and grey.

Mario Golf, released in 1999, offers a unique Story mode where players can embark on an RPG-lite adventure with characters like Kid, Sherry, Joe, or Azalea, leveling up their stats in tournaments over time.

Similarly, Mario Tennis, launched in 2001, provides engaging gameplay with a focus on skill rather than power-ups. The GBC version includes a Story mode called Mario Tour, where players can guide youngsters Alex or Nina through the ranks at the Royal Academy.

These Game Boy and Game Boy Color games are accessible with a standard Switch Online subscription, priced at £3.49/€3.99/$3.99 monthly, £6.99/€7.99/$7.99 quarterly, or £17.99/€19.99/$19.99 annually. Don’t miss out on the fun – join the Mario madness on Nintendo Switch Online!
