Gas prices in Europe jumped after the announcement from "Gazprom" Shutdown of the turbine of the Nord Stream gas pipeline

European gas prices rose about 8% during trading on Monday to $1,850 per 1,000 cubic meters of gas following Gazprom’s announcement.

The increase in gas prices came after the Russian gas company Gazprom announced today, Monday, that it will stop the operation of another Siemens turbine, which is used at the Portovaya station of the Nord Stream 1 gas pipeline, due to repair work.

The Russian company indicated that the supply of blue fuel through Nord Stream 1, starting from July 27, will not exceed 33 million cubic meters per day.
