The head of the Lebanese Kataeb party, Sami Gemayel, confirmed that Hezbollah is tightening its grip on Lebanon, stressing that it has turned to the judiciary “to break it and subdue it”.

Today, Thursday, Gemayel declared, in statements to the local MTV channel, that Hezbollah uses all its tools to control the state, “from weapons to the interruption of the presidency and the interruption of governments”.

He also stressed that “we should not go to a sectarian confrontation as Hezbollah wants”.
