Germany has the highest inflation rate of the last 13 years in August

The annual rate of consumer price inflation in Germany rose to a 13-year high in August, according to data released today highlighting rising price pressures, as Europe’s largest economy is recovering from the spread of the pandemic and businesses suffer from shortages.

Consumer prices have risen, adjusted So that it can be compared with inflation rates in other EU Member States, 3.4% in August, compared to 3.1% in July, according to preliminary data released by the Federal Statistical Office.
