The Americans fell to Canada’s top opponent by a 6-4 score in the tournament that opened the game IIIII IIIIIIII Juniors Thursday, but have the chance to enter the payoff on Friday against a less dangerous opponent in Germany.
The Germans are returning for the first time since 2015, having won the 1st World Championships a year ago and while being the team with the lowest scores in the tournament, they bring some top talent to the NHL. The first round of the NHL Championship in 2018 and 2019, respectively, and Tim Stutzle’s coach for 2020, respectively, was Dominik Bokk (St. Louis Blues prospect) and Moritz Seider (Detroit Red Wings) coach tournament.

For the United States, it’s a winning game, but that doesn’t mean Coach Scott Sandelin shouldn’t take Germany seriously. The action takes place at the Ostravar Arena when the boxer drops on Friday at 1pm. ET.
