Affordable PlayStation 5 DualSense Controllers Now Available
A number of UK retailers are currently selling PlayStation 5 DualSense controllers for as low as £39.99. This marks a 33% drop from the controller’s standard price of £59.99.
The sale coincides with the ongoing PS5 hardware sale, where Sony has reduced the PS5 price by £75 / €75, from £479.99 to £404.99, until August 10.

This is the biggest official discount on the PS5 since its November 2020 launch. It seems that Sony is aiming to clear stock of the console’s launch model before potentially introducing a new PS5 model with a detachable disc drive later this year.
Sony recently announced that PS5 sales have surpassed 40 million units worldwide. Although the PS4 reached this milestone faster, it didn’t encounter the same supply issues caused by COVID-19.
