All three dealerships were renamed under the Randy Marion brand, with the addition of “Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram of Salisbury”, highlighting the new brands that are now a part of the group. The acquisition of the Honda and Kia dealerships also marks the Randy Marion Automotive Group’s first venture into these brands, increasing their variety of offerings within their portfolio.
The Randy Marion Automotive Group COO, DJ Heller, expressed excitement for the group’s increased diversity, stating that “Having Honda and Kia really adds to our domestic brands, along with Subaru”. The group previously only had dealerships in North Carolina, making Salisbury a new market for them. In addition to the acquisition of the Salisbury dealerships, the Randy Marion Automotive Group also acquired a Chevrolet dealership in West Jefferson, North Carolina in February, which also sold Buick and GMC vehicles. This dealership was renamed Randy Marion Chevrolet-Buick-GMC of West Jefferson.
