Go into a Sarlacc and under Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order in this video

The latest episode of YouTube’s Boundary Break releases the camera from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and shows everyone what’s going on behind Oz’s curtain. Some of them are simply the way programmers, designers, and model builders manage resources for efficiency, but there are a few secrets that raise an eyebrow or two.

The AT-AT sequence is a good example of how Respawn Entertainment coped with the seamless scene changes that make Fallen Order feel so cinematic, even as you go through it. The real highlight, however, is a residual object buried on the Kashyyyk level, on which METROIDVANIA TEST STAY CALM is written.

But there’s also a trip to the center of a Sarlacc from the first chapter of the game, if you’re wondering what Boba Fett’s last thoughts were before being dragged to his death by the galaxy’s biggest hemorrhoid. It may seem arbitrary what details the respawn designers placed in inaccessible areas of the game while roughly sketching birds, NPC viewers, and others. This speaks either for plans or the direction of the story that changed later, or only for artists who have fun when they can.

Either way, it’s a neat look into a title that brings Star Wars back onto the video game card in a big and unexpected way. Shesez, the YouTubers behind the Boundary Break video series, always looks good in popular games – he found a lot of interesting things in Fallout 3 in late 2018 and in April Shesez showed how side-scrolling works Platformer Shovel Knight is indeed a 3D -Game.
