The French coach, Herve Renard, announced that the team that will participate in the Arab Cup will depend on the youth and the Olympic team, and Renard explained in a press conference held yesterday in Riyadh that his assistant, Laurent Bonadi, will lead the team in the Arab Cup, and who will supervise the training.
The capital of Qatar, Doha, will host the 2021 Arabian Cup, from November 30 to December 18. And Renard indicated that the coordination was coordinated with Saad Al-Shehri, the coach of the Olympic team, in so that the green list has been resolved in coordination between the first team and the Olympic team.
Renard indicated that his goal in the next period is to protect first team players from stress, noting that coordination has been done with the Competitions Committee to establish the postponements of Al Hilal and Al Nasr during the Arab Cup, in so that the team’s players are without pressure with the resumption of World Cup qualifiers next January.
The coach of the first team explained that he had resorted to this decision, given the subsequent participation of international players, and some of them suffered injuries, in addition to postponed league games.
For his part, Laurent Bonadi thanked the Saudi Football Association for Renard for the trust placed in him to lead Al-Akhdar into the Arab Cup, stressing that they will give everything they have to achieve the goal.
