Green teams win 20 medals at the “Asian Paralympic Games” in Bahrain

Saudi national team players continued to win medals after winning 9 medals (2 golds, 4 silvers and 3 bronzes) today on the third day of the Asian Youth Paralympic Games competitions in course in the Kingdom of Bahrain, bringing the total of what they have obtained so far and one day from the conclusion 20 medals (4 golds, 7 silvers, 9 bronzes).

Weightlifter Adnan Muhammad Nour took the gold medal by taking first place in weightlifting competitions after lifting 117 kg for weight category 49. Al-Baraa Al-Qarni added second gold by winning first place in the race in wheelchair 200, while Ahmed Al-Alwani won silver in the race and the runner won Ali Al-Nasser, the silver medal in the 200-meter race, which took place at the track of Khalifa Sports Stadium in Manama.

Pitcher Fahd Al-Turki won silver in the discus throwing competition by finishing second, while bronze went to Haider Salami, and runner Abdulaziz Al-Harbi finished third in the 200m competition, and was crowned with the bronze medal.

Swimmer Ibrahim Al-Marzouqi won the silver medal in the 50m backstroke and Abdullah Al-Samkari won the bronze in the BC3 bowls competition.
