A small hint about GTA 6 could be hidden in a recent update to GTA Online. It’s common knowledge that Rockstar Games likes to hint at upcoming projects in their present games. For example, there are a lot of hints about Red Dead Redemption 2 in GTA 5. The same is true for GTA Online, but since it is updated often, there are more teasers, or at least things that fans think are teases, all the time. The latest rumored tease is another iffy one, but it has some GTA fans very excited.
In a recent video, YouTuber MrBossFTW said that Rockstar Games just added a new vehicle skin called N.O.O.S.E., which means for “National Office of Security Enforcement.” This is a government body in the GTA universe that works like the Department of Homeland Security and has been in every HD game so far. To put it another way, it’s important.
So, what’s the possible link to GTA 6? Well, the logo on the uniform is a brand-new design that has never been seen in a game before. MrBossFTW thinks that this is a clear message from GTA 6, which wouldn’t be the first time something like this has happened. Because of last year’s huge GTA 6 leak, where files of the game were all over the Internet, we know that little bits and pieces of GTA 6 material (cosmetics) have been released in GTA Online.
At the moment, all we have is a lot of guesswork, which we should all take with a grain of salt. There are other possible reasons for this new paint job, but if it has something to do with GTA 6, it could mean that N.O.O.S.E. will play a big part in the story. At this point, though, this is just theory on top of speculation.
At the time this article was written, Rockstar Games had not said anything about this idea. We don’t think this will change for a number of different reasons, but if it does, we’ll make sure to update the story. In the meantime, feel free to tell us what you think by leaving a note or two. Do you believe this rumor about GTA 6?
