Haaland leads Manchester City to beat Leeds by three in the English Premier League

London: Manchester City continued to chase Arsenal in top of the Premier League table, having secured a valuable and deserved 3-1 win over Leeds United, today, Wednesday, in the seventeenth stage of the competition. Manchester City, league champions for the last two seasons, climbed to 35 points in second place, 5 points behind Arsenal, who are in head. Instead Leeds United, who suffered their eighth defeat in championship in this season, they stopped at 4 wins and 3 draws, 15 points in fifteenth place. Rodri opened the scoring for Manchester City in the 45th minute, before Norwegian star Erling Haaland added the second and third goals for the heavenly side in the 51st and 64th minutes respectively. Haaland starred in the city of Leeds, where he was born 22 years ago, under the eyes of his father, Alf Eng Haaland, who in he had previously defended both sides’ colors while a player, resulting in the Norwegian international star reinforcing his lead in the competition’s top scorer list in this season with 20 goals, of 7 goals ahead of the closest.
