Haaland shines and leads Dortmund to an exciting victory

Erling Haaland scored two goals and assisted another, while Borussia Dortmund made up for his delay three times before beating his host Bayer Leverkusen 4-3 in an exciting match in the German first division of football yesterday, Saturday.

Florian Virts opened the scoring for Leverkusen after nine minutes, but Haaland missed more in high of all to equalize with a header in the 37th minute before the referee canceled a second goal for the visiting team with Judd Blingham due to a mistake at the start of the attack.

Patrick Sheek returned the advantage to the hosts in the second half.

Julian Brandt equalized for Dortmund early in the second half, receiving a heel pass from Haaland and kicking in goal, but Moussa Diaby scored the 3-2 for Leverkusen six minutes later.

Once again, Dortmund equalized with a splendid free-kick from Raphael Guerrero before taking a penalty from Haaland 13 minutes before the end, which the referee awarded after an intervention by Odilon Cosono against Marco Reus.
