Heartbroken T.I. Congratulations from the sponsor / inspiration for Trap Muzik, the late Terrance “Cap” Beasley: “You were the strongest and most fearless person”

T.I. is heartbroken these days after the death of his best friend, Terrance ‘Cape’ Beasley. He was killed in prison a few days ago at the age of 40.

Beasley’s death is under investigation by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Georgia Department of Corrections. He is said to have died after an altercation with another inmate.

T.I. wrote the most touching post on his social media account dedicated to his best friend and his inspiration. Find out below:

“A coward dies a thousand dead, a soldier dies only once.” From family friends to these 25 years, we have been in each other’s life. We have transformed our adolescent experiences into a lifestyle and a movement. It is my brother. Boss Cap… HE IS THE SPONSOR / INSPIRATION for Trap Muzik !!!! All the stories I’ve told on every album I’ve ever made have been about you or an experience we had together. You have taught us so much about strength (mental and physical) and fearlessness, ”Tip started.

He went on to say, “When I said ‘5’9 with the soul of a NI66A 6’4′ . I was thinking of you . you were the strongest, most fearless (and most fearful) person ) that I have never known personally. Honestly, I can’t start transmitting what you mean to the United States . but I’ll try. We were all tracks of broken houses looking for something TRUE to believe. We found in each other EVERYTHING WE MISS AT HOME !!! Family, love, support and stability. “

I never thought what no one thought of me cuz b4 I was special for everyone, I was shit in the United States! When I didn’t believe in myself, you believed in ME. U told me that i would be all i am. I remember the first night we met, we were 15 and 16, trying to find our place in a world that would have ignored the United States if we had allowed it. I remember learning to shake 12 on high speed chases using your “reckless but defensive” driving tactics (emergency brake U-turns, etc.) I remember you introduced me to @douggrandhustle @kthustle @c_rodthomas @macboneyfool @da_great_inday @kuntryking & @hustlegangdoc become the best friends you could ask for. I remember playing the first song I recorded for “I’m Serious” (Dope BoyZ) over the phone for U while U was fighting your cause. I remember being invincible to cross the city together during the summer of 96, blowing up UGK Ridin Dirty, All Eyes on Me, Makevelli and TRU (NI66A swamp) in an old primed convertible Duece and a quarter ( Buick Electra 225)…. U showed me how to tail fish and donuts in the club illusions parking lot in my mom’s car, blow the transmission and have to hang on until we got trapped enough to fix it . We crossed ALL TOGETHER! I feel bad for everyone because they don’t have friends like U # LOVE4LIFE # P $ C ????

People were really touched by what Tip had to say and they made sure to massively support the rapper after this tragic event.
