Lo and behold, potentially the fastest posse cut in rap history! Wiz Khalifa, Lil Yachty, Ty Dolla $ign, and Sueco the Kid have in fact rapidly released a new collaboration, “Speed Me Up,” that’s set to appear on the soundtrack to the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog movie.
It consists of a video about digitally hurrying through truth and the land of the distinguished computer game franchise, providing fans looks of not simply what these 4 artists’ digital avatars would appear like if they too may collect heavy gold rings that wander in mid air, however similarly essential scenes from the movie including Sonic himself and the wicked Dr. Robotnik (played by Jim Carrey, who looks like he’s having a blast).
What would you do if you were drawn into a Sonic computer game? They’re extremely hard with giant, looping hills, flying robotics, and other barriers that would make life there as a human an experience. Wiz, Yachty, Ty, and Sueco face this reality as they get digitized into Sonic’s world and chase him as he goes through a few of the movie’s scenarios, from sticking out at darts in a bar to handling versus Eggman. The uplifting tune finds the rap artists exploring their chaotic lives that they live while their digital characters speed simply as quickly. They make it out alive though, ending up on a sofa where they all get to play Sonic together.
Sonic the Hedgehog will be out on Valentine’s Day (February 14). In 2015, the charming Sega mascot had its style revamped for the movie after it was slammed following a trailer that dropped in April.
