The Grand Tour returns to Amazon this month with two new episodes of the fan favourite show. This time, the trio gallivanted around Scotland following a delay in filming due to coronavirus and travel restrictions. As usual, Jeremy Clarkson, 61, and Richard Hammond, 51, managed to find time to prank James May, 58, this time leaving him drenched.
Viewers will witness the car enthusiast trying to pick himself up out of a puddle after Jeremy and Richard filled up his caravan with water.
Speaking to Express.co.uk, Jeremy, 61, admitted he doesn’t believe their co-star will ever get them back.
“No, James tends to mostly think about victorian poetry,” he said of his colleague.
“So, everybody’s head has a place where it settles, mine is, ‘What can we do that is amusing and will make James’ life a little bit worse?’

“Richard’s is the same thing.
“James gets in the car and thinks about victorian poetry. He doesn’t really know where he is, until he goes to the lavatory.
“So, he doesn’t actually think about getting us back, he’s drenched, gets in the car, victorian poetry.
“Maybe he’s saving it all up,” he laughed.
The Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? presenter added that James is “never really with us”.

“I don’t know how we stood that much pressure. Top marks for ingenuity.”
