Historic success .. The women of karate give the country bronze in the World League

The Saudi women’s karate team yesterday awarded the country a bronze medal in the kata competitions of the World Karate League Championship, which will be hosted in these days from Egypt.

This is the first international participation of the Saudi team in a championship, which is the second in the program of the International Karate Federation after the World Championship.

The Saudi team consists of four players: Manal Al-Zaid, Lama Abdulaziz, Shahd Al-Ammar and Reef Buqas.

The Saudi team was crowned in the presence of the Egyptian Minister of Sport, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, and the President of the International Karate Federation, Antonio Seibnos.

After the coronation, the President of the International Karate Federation met with Dr. Musharraf Al-Shehri, President of the Saudi Karate Federation, and congratulated him on the level of the Saudi team, indicating the development of the Saudi sport, and in particular of women.
