Martin Roberts explained he is overcome with worry as the family dog Rolo has been forced to go back to the veterinary surgery for an overnight stay. The Homes Under The Hammer presenter resides at his home with his wife Kirsty Roberts and the couple’s two children, daughter Megan and son Scott.
The 57-year-old reacted to a social media user after they quizzed the presenter about his pet pooch.
Taking to Twitter, the BBC favourite regularly responds to questions for Ask Martin Monday.
The person in question penned: “How’s Rolo #AskMartinMonday.”
It comes after the Homes Under The Hammer star had previously revealed that his dog Rolo had fallen ill.

In view of his 26,000 followers, Martin explained that his beloved pet has to remain at the vet for an overnight stay where he is currently being treated.
He replied: “Thanks Wendy. He’s gone back to the vets for an overnight stay to give him some intravenous medicine and hydration, but I’m worried sick.”
Martin’s comments come after another social media user reacted to the news of his pet.
They queried: “Good morning Martin. Sorry to hear your doggy is poorly. I saw you on Pointless on Saturday. You actually got through to round 2! Would you go on Beat the Chasers or the Chase? And would you do Strictly Come Dancing? #AskMartinMonday.”

The presenter responded: “PS Rolo is still very poorly and is currently overnight at the vet’s, so I hope he gets better.”
Martin’s heartfelt post comes months after the Homes Under Hammer star announced that another dog the family owned had sadly died at the age of 14.
In August, his Golden Retriever Mylo had to be put to sleep after the pup suffered two strokes.
Martin paid a touching tribute to his pet on Twitter at the time – admitting to followers that he is “heartbroken”.

He wrote: “Such an unbearably sad day. Mylo, my 14-year-old Golden Retriever has recently suffered two strokes, and on the advice of the vet he’s just been put to sleep.
“If you’ve ever lost a pet you’ll know how I feel right now. Heartbroken”.
The property expert added: “Rest in peace, my faithful friend.”

A Twitter user queried: “Hi Martin. As a man who looks to enjoy the rough and ready world of DIY- what’s your worst injury? I once hurt my little finger on some sandpaper and I’ve never been the same since #AskMartinMonday.”
Martin revealed he had to undergo nine hours of surgery after he suffered an arm injury.
He replied: “Yes, I almost chopped my arm off and required 9 hours of surgery under a general anesthetic to rebuild me. So it sounds like we’ve had similar levels of trauma.” (sic)
