How do you control the sound of the Apple Watch and its types, and also “Siri”?

The Apple Watch produces a variety of sounds, both for alerts and in response to various Siri commands. Users may find some of these sounds a bit loud, especially if they’ve never owned a smartwatch before.

You can control the volume of the watch and you can turn the volume down or up as you see fit, but not directly. This is because the audio settings are saved on the watch and remain in force until you go back to this method to change it again.

Apple Watch volume control

Apple splits the sounds generated by your Apple Watch in two parts: the first section contains all the sounds. The second section contains only the sounds that come from Siri, so you need to change the pitch of the two sections.

Check all the sounds on the watch except Siri

You need to go to the Settings app on your watch, then go to Sounds & Feedback. Next, choose the degree of alert volume and you can control it via the physical button on the watch.

Check the volume of Siri on Apple Watch

You can control the volume of Siri’s voice by going to the Settings app, then selecting Siri, then choosing the volume and speaker volume in Siri settings.

Then press the volume button and move the physical button on the watch to increase or decrease the volume.

And you can turn down the watch volume directly and quickly by going to the watch command interface and choosing the bell button that makes the watch work in silent mode.

Types of sounds produced by the watch

The watch can produce a variety of sounds, ranging from alerts and bells to calls and Siri’s.

The watch sends a series of sound alerts when you receive a new alert in your phone or sends you a new alert for an alarm or timer you have set in precedence.

Siri also responds with its own voice to voice commands, and Siri’s voice commands are a convenient way to control your Apple Watch.

So you may want to turn the clock down a bit when you go in various quiet or formal places.
