ICAS supports the hosting of the Kingdom of Expo 2030 in Riyadh

The Head of the Commission of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECAS), Ambassador Gilberto da Piedade Verissimo, received His Excellency the Counselor of the Court yesterday, Tuesday, at the headquarters of the organization in the capital of Gabon, Libreville Reale, Mr. Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan, in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Gabon, Mikael Moussa Adamou. During the meeting the meeting was held to discuss the modalities of cooperation between the Kingdom and the organization, as well as discussing the opportunities to strengthen economic and investment cooperation and joint coordination to serve common interests.

Following the meeting, the organization released a statement in which affirmed its strong support for the Kingdom by organizing the two summits, the “First Summit of Saudi Africa” ​​and the “Fifth Arab-African Summit” in Riyadh, as well as support for the Kingdom’s candidacy to host Expo 2030 in Riyadh , noting that this support comes from his enjoyment of The Kingdom has great ambition and ability to reach the highest levels of innovation and provide an unprecedented experience for this global release.

For his part, Councilor Qattan expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for this support, which stems from the distinct relations between the Kingdom and the members of the organization.
