The official Emirati news agency reported Tuesday today that Aimia Power, an Emirati-based subsidiary of the Al-Nowais Investment Group, aims to increase its clean energy production to five thousand megawatts within three years.

The agency quoted Hussain Jassim Al Nowis, chairman of the company’s board, saying that the production volume of renewable energy projects developed by the company since its inception amounted to around two thousand megawatts, through solar and wind power plants. in 15 countries.

Al Nowis explained that the company is studying promising investment opportunities in the field of clean energy in Africa and in Asia: “We have strong plans and strategies to enter in new markets in Asia and Africa to be the reliable partner for governments seeking development and development in their countries, “he said.

He pointed out that the production volume of renewable energy projects developed and implemented by the company since its inception has been around 2,000 megawatts through solar and wind power plants. in 15 countries, including Arab Republic of Egypt, Jordan, Tunisia, Morocco, Mauritania, Togo, Chad, Mali, Ethiopia, Burkina Faso, Kenya, Uganda, Ivory Coast, Malawi and others.

He stressed that the company seeks to strengthen its position in growth in the market by offering a wide range of energy solutions that meet the needs of emerging markets in which it operates, how to start using hydrogen and green hydrogen storage technologies and invest in the construction of desalination plants, among others.
