Immediately delete Google Chrome for this reason: Experts Warn
People think that the Google Chrome browser is one of the best and most popular on the internet, but experts have recently warned people not to use it because they say it saves information about its users.
Google users were told to get rid of the Google Chrome browser because the search giant tracks users and collects data about them.
According to the British newspaper “Il Sole,” a study showed that “Chrome” does not protect users from being tracked and having their data collected, even after the most recent update. This means that it is a huge security and privacy mess.
72% do not feel safe
He also said that Google admitted that tracking web on the Chrome browser caused a “collapse of trust among users,” where 72% of users think that advertising, tech companies, or other groups are watching almost everything they do online.
He also said that 81% of them think the risks of collecting data are greater than the benefits.
Researchers from Chrome found that up to 52 companies could possibly keep an eye on up to 91% of a user’s browsing history and web media, and 600 companies could keep an eye on at least 50% of the logs.
It is called Federated Learning of Cohorts (FLoC), and its goal is to group users who have similar browsing habits or who share similar hobbies and behaviors so that they are not targeted individually but as a group.
Update the browser
But at the start of the year, Google ended its test of the program because it realized that FLoC technology does not get rid of the privacy risks of third-party cookies, but it does create new ones. It also makes many privacy concerns with behavioral advertising, such as discrimination, worse. and taking aim.
The report was made public after Google earlier this month told Chrome users they needed to update right away because they found seven very dangerous bugs in the software.
It wrote a new blog post about the holes in the security. It fixed all of the problems and told people to update as soon as possible.
