The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has advised against travel in 22 countries and regions, including Israel, Australia, Egypt, Albania, Argentina and Uruguay, due to the high incidence of Covid-19 in they.
Centers raised their travel warning to “fourth level” is “extremely high” and told Americans they should avoid traveling in those countries, which also include Panama, Qatar, Bahamas, Bahrain, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Turks and Caicos Islands, Suriname, Saint Lucia and Bolivia.
Overall, US centers now rank just over 100 countries and territories at level 4 and another 20 countries have been upgraded to “Level Three: High”, including Uganda, Kuwait, Jamaica, Costa Rica, and Cuba.
The CDC recommends that Americans who have not been vaccinated avoid nonessential travel to these destinations.
