India v England 4th Test: Day 3 Lunch Update: Washington Sundar 96 Propel Hosts

With the efforts of Sundar and Rishabh Pant (101), India managed to put 160 runs in the lead and England would now seek rearguard action to delay the inevitable. England was 6 without loss when lunch was taken.

Sundar and Axar Patel continued the third day at 294/7, easily leaving the first hour behind them. The duo achieved brisk runs, adding further misery to the tired English bowlers.

India scored 50 runs in the first hour. Both Batters extended their partnership to 106 runs, but with seven runs from his first half-century, Axar (43) was dismissed via run-out in the 114th innings.
