India versus England, 1. T20I: English wear black armband! Know who Joey Benjamin is

Benjamin had to wait until he was 27 years old before getting into the county game. He impressed Staffordshire and at the club level before Warwickshire took him on and made his championship debut in 1988. His brisk pace and ability to swing the ball away from right-handed people was noticed by Surrey despite limited options at Edgbaston, and he joined the Oval’s staff in 1992 and quickly established himself as a regular member of the County Championship.

When England returned for the first game, they won the throw and settled on the first field at Narendra Modi Stadium. Surprisingly, Indian skipper Virat Kohli announced that Rohit Sharma will rest in the first two games. India will be very confident as they previously beat England 3-1 in the Test series in four games.

The T20I series will also be great preparation for both sides as the ICC T20 World Championship is slated to take place later this year.

India plays XI: KL Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli (captain), Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant (week), Hardik Pandya, Washington Sundar, Axar Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Shardul Thakur, Yuzvendra Chahal.
