India versus England, 1st ODI: Visitors win the litter and decide on the field; Krunal Pandya & Prasidh Kishna made their debut

While Krunal and Krishna make their ODI in-game debut, KL Rahul will hold wickets in front of Rishabh Pant. England, on the other hand, brings Tom Curran, Moeen Ali and Sam Billings into the XI and replaces Jofra Archer, Dawid Malan and Chris Jordan from the T20 side.

At the throw, the English skipper Morgan said: “Looks good, a little more grass than we expected. It’s a good challenge that we’re looking forward to. Sam Billings, Tom Curran and Moeen Ali are back.

“And we bowl. Wood, the two Currans, Stokes, Moeen and Rashid will be our bowling attack. Jof (Archer) is unfortunately injured. The elbow injury got worse during the T20Is so we will miss him.”

Indian skipper Virat Kohli said: “We were very happy to hit first, we had other plans. The weather will change drastically in the evening. It’s a great opportunity for us to get runs on the board. The last game, that we played against England here is a great memory.

“If we think we are a top team, we should be ready for anything, whether we decide or ask for something. KL will beat with 5 and keep. The top 4 are Rohit, Shikhar, me and Shreyas. Hardik hits with 6, Krunal at 7. Shardul 8, Bhuvi at 9, Prasidh and Kuldeep completely.

After winning the Test and T20I series, India is ready for the final challenge against England in the three-game ODI series that is part of the ODI Super League.
