The leaker claims in a tweet seen by MacRumors that, like this year’s A17 Bionic, the A18 Bionic will be built using TSMC’s 3nm process and come with LPDDR5X memory. According to the leaker, the iPhone 15 Pro will have LPDDR5 memory later this year, and the iPhone 14 Pro currently has LPDDR5 memory. While the A18 Bionic will be based on TSMC’s improved 3nm process, the A17 Bionic for the iPhone 15 Pro will be produced using the N3B chip process.

Although the type of memory stays the same, the iPhone 15 Pro might have 8GB of RAM instead of the 6GB currently available on the top-tier iPhones. Users can enjoy better multitasking on iOS with multiple apps running in the background with more RAM, and LPDDR5X in 2024 could aid in improving battery efficiency.
