IPL 2021: CSK batting coach Mike Hussey tests positive for COVID-19

This has been confirmed by Indian Premier League sources hours after the 14th edition of the lucrative T20 league was suspended indefinitely due to a COVID-19 outbreak in his bio-bubble.

Husseys test Reports came on Tuesday (May 4th).

‘Hussey was tested and his sample came out positive. We sent it for test again but that has also be positive, ”an IPL source told PTI.

On Monday CSK bowling coach Balaji along with Kolkata Knight Riders bowlers had Sandeep Warrier and Varun Chakravarthy also positively returned results.

The dissemination of Infections had caused a shift of two IPL games earlier.

The suspension of the league was announced after Sunrisers Hyderabad’s wicketkeeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha tested positive for COVID-19 with with Delhi capitals’ veteran Spinner Amit Mishra.
