IPL 2021: Referee Manu Nayyar leaves die Bubble afterwards mother’s death

Nayyar last officiated in Tuesday match between Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore, die latter won by just one run at Narendra Modi Stadium.

Nayyar, a former Delhi Ranji Trophy player had officiated in the Mumbai leg of IPL matches before they are assigned for the Ahmedabad leg. It is learned that he reached Delhi on Thursday (April 29th) to join his family.

The cause of death of Nayyars mother could not be confirmed.
