These fans were the first to see the new kit, before the players. Fans were delighted when they got their own custom DC jerseys, but the best was saved for the end. Delhi Capitals captain Shreyas Iyer and opener Shikhar Dhawan connected with them LIVE on a video call to take a look at the shirt and chat with the fans, making it a rare and precious experience.
“Delhi’s fans have been by the team through ups and downs, so it’s imperative for us to make them feel special,” said chairman and co-owner Kiran Kumar Grandhi on the occasion.
“In order to raise the fan experience to another level, we organized a photo shoot for the selected fans in the new jersey as well as for the players. We are happy to have given them an unforgettable experience. It is also a very proud moment for all of us at GMR to see the group’s logo on the arm. We can’t wait for the league to start. The new Delhi Capitals jersey continues to be dominated by blue (for stability and confidence) and red (for energy, passion and aggression). However, the jersey is made in a darker shade of blue and features lighter tones. In addition to the trademarked tiger stripes on the jersey, red tiger claws on the sides ensure an extremely dynamic overall attractiveness.

The highlight of the event was the surprising video call from Shreya’s and Shikhar’s commitment and access to players and management something that the fans really appreciate. In the future we will try to give them more such opportunities. “
