Iraqi Ministry of Education: Rumors will be checked

The Ministry of Higher Education in the Syrian regime government denied that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Iraq has withdrawn the recognition of Syrian university degrees.

An official source from the ministry said: “The ministry has not been informed of anything official about the Iraqi withdrawal of recognition of the Syrian certificate … and what is said will be examined and followed up by (the foreign ministry and the embassy). ” The source added that the certificates granted by Syrian universities are “recognized and accredited in all countries”.

The Iraqi embassy in Damascus had published a statement on 17 July via its Facebook account in which he claimed to have revoked the recognition of all Syrian universities, public and private. Universities covered included universities private of Damascus, Aleppo, Tishreen and Andalusia. It also included bags of studio and special foods, to be implemented starting from 1 September for the academic year 2022-2023.
