Is there a “Thursday Night Football” game tonight? NFL schedule, TV channels for Week 17

Technically there is Thursday night football on television tonight, but there is no “Thursday Night Football” game on television tonight. As it happened last week, the NFL has no “TNF” game in Week 17. The final week of the 2019 season will begin and end on Sunday with a full slate of games.

So Thursday night’s football phase belongs to Pittsburgh and Eastern Michigan in the ESPN Quick Lane Cup at 8pm. ET.

As for the Week 17 NFL schedule, the league called its best game of the week in the only available slot available. (There is no “Monday Night Football” in Week 17). The Seahawks will host the 49ers in “Sunday Night Football” in the regular season finale and a matchup that will decide the NFC West title – not to mention its impact on the NFL playoff picture.

Is there a “Thursday Night Football” game tonight?

There is no. The last “Thursday Night Football” game of the season played a few weeks ago when the Ravens unleashed the Jets.

If you need your football performance on Thursday during the holidays, the college bowl program offers two options. Miami and Louisiana Tech to play in Independence Cup at 4pm ET, Pittsburgh and Eastern Michigan will play in the Quick Lane Cup at 8pm. ET. Both games will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.

The NFL takes on Week 17 on Sunday, when all 16 games will be played at 1 p.m. ET or 4:25 pm ET on CBS or Fox, with the exception of the Seahawks-49ers game at 8:25 pm ET on NBC.
