Islamic Affairs Launches ‘Gift of the Keeper of the Two Holy Mosques’ Programs for Iftar and Dates Distribution in Bosnia and Herzegovina during Ramadan

Today the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Calling and Guidance – represented by the Religious Attaché at the Kingdom Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina – inaugurated the program for the gift of the Keeper of the Two Holy Mosques for the distribution of dates, as well as the program for breaking the fast for those who fast in the blessed month of Ramadan for the year 1444 AH, at the headquarters of the King Fahd Cultural Center at the Embassy of the Guardian of the Two Holy Mosques in Sarajevo. Sheikh, Chief of Scholars, the Grand Mufti of the State of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr. Hussein Kavazovic, the ambassador of the Guardian of the Two Holy Mosques in Bosnia Osama bin Dakhil Al-Ahmadi, and the religious attaché at Keeper of the Two Holy Mosques Amer Al-Anzi The two programs included breaking the fast for fasting people and distributing 10 tons of dates to charities and centers The Islamic Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, while the breakfast program aims to provide breakfast to around 20,000 fasting people.

And the ambassador of the Guardian of the Two Holy Mosques noted that the gift testifies to the joy and acceptance of Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and it also shows up in the way of serving Islam and touching the needs of Muslims in the month of Ramadan in various countries around the world, commending the efforts of the Ministry in these programs under the directions of wise leadership, may God sustain them.

For his part, His Excellency Dr. Hussein Kazovic appreciated the efforts and support of the Kingdom government – ​​represented by the Keeper of the Two Holy Mosques and his trusted Crown Prince, may God protect them – for their continued support to Bosnia and Herzegovina and its people, who will not forget what Saudi Arabia and its leadership have provided them throughout history, indicating that the Keeper of the Two Holy Mosques and his Crown Prince are of special interest to them in the Islamic religion and Muslims around the world, including this precious annual gift.

He extended his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Minister of Islamic Affairs, call and guide, Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, for his involvement of the Muslims of Bosnia and Herzegovina in these charities, underlining their desire to reach out to the majority of Muslims in Bosnia during this holy month.

In turn, the religious attaché at the embassy confirmed that this gift is part of the charitable projects implemented by the ministry, indicating that the gift will be distributed to authorized Islamic sheikhdoms, charities and relief organizations.

Interestingly, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs is implementing the program in 60 countries in around the world during the month of Ramadan questyear, and it is an extension of the leadership’s interest in Muslims, touching their needs and deepening the ties and bonds of brotherhood and love with them in the month of goodness and giving.
