Israel successfully tests new anti-ship missile
Last month, the Navy and the Defense Research and Development Directorate of the Israeli Ministry of Defense and Aerospace tried the Gabriel-5 warhead against ships at sea and it worked well.
The test took place on the Oz missile ship and was the second part of the ship’s air defense system. It tested the ship’s ability to deal with different threats using new and improved weapons, such as the modern Gabriel 5 missile.
Brigadier General Gai Goldfarb, who is in charge of the Israeli Navy Headquarters at the time, said, “The Navy continues to change and adapt to meet new military challenges and changes in the region, as well as to improve its defense capabilities in the maritime sphere across many fronts and tasks.” Defense of freedom of navigation, maritime authority, economic waters, and strategic resources of the State of Israel are all protected by the Navy. the state navy gives the country’s navy depth and naval superiority through technological innovation, growth, and skilled personnel. All of these things lead to more military success.
What did the head of the relevant department at the Israeli Ministry of Defense’s Defense Research and Development Directorate say? “The system is a qualitative technical and military leap that will allow the Navy to keep its naval superiority,” The Ministry of Defense’s Department of Defense Research and Development will continue to meet military goals with all the new technologies that Israel has come up with.
Israel Aerospace Industries CEO Boaz Levy, on the other hand, said, “The aerospace industry is happy of the success of the tests that have been carried out with the Gabriel 5 rocket on the advanced Sa’ar 6 ships and in close cooperation with the Navy and the Department of Defense.” Adding these features to the Sa’ar 6 ships is a big step forward in naval combat to protect Israel’s key installations.
Gabriel-5 is a long-range weapon system that can reach hundreds of kilometers away, in both water and air, and can fight a wide range of threats and hostile targets.
A huge step forward in naval defense technology has been made by turning the Gabriel-5 missile system into a combat system. This is the result of a lot of hard work by Navy fighters and engineers working with the Office of Defense Research and Development and Aerospace Service Industries.
