#Roommates, it’s been three years since Ja Rule has been involved in the fiasco known as the Fyre Festival – which left thousands of stranded, hungry and moneyless people for a music festival that never took place. Ja has since been cleared of any wrongdoing by a judge, but in public opinion court he is still one of the faces of one of the festival’s biggest disasters in recent memory.
Ja Rule recently stated that he intends to mount his own festival which will be bigger as Fyre was – and as you can imagine, few people are here for this idea. Fast forward to the present and Ja has made a comeback to music with his new song “FYRE” which addresses the big picture.
At certain points in the song, he seemed to be joking about what had happened and quickly making sure to let listeners know that he was being duped like everyone else. The song samples the classic hip hop collective “The Show” by Doug E. Fresh and Slick Rick.
Some of the lyrics to “FYRE” are:
“The festival is on fire / We don’t need water, makes this mother hotter / Warmer than the sun, but that’s not it / Freehand if you get your money back?” / I’m just playing, I continued for that / 100 mil to be exact. “He continues, adding,” False advertising is not fraud. ”
Ja revealed on Instagram that he is currently working on his album and plans to release it on February 29, 2020. He wrote: “I am still working on the album which is coming out doping … be patient with me, I am working a lot !!! February 29 new date my bday. “
Flatmates. What do you think about this?
