Twitter founder and CEO Jack Dorsey has predicted he will leave his post, according to sources cited by media, according to “Reuters” and “CNBC”.
The actions of the tweet platform in short form were up 9% in early trading on Monday, while shares in Dorsey-led digital payment company Square Inc were also up 3%.
In his latest tweet on his account, Dorsey said on the 28th of this month: “I love Twitter”.
In early 2020, Dorsey faced requests to resign from hedge fund Elliott Management Corp, which he claimed paid too little attention to Twitter’s actions.
Dorsey countered tale giving pressure to Elliott and his ally, the acquisition firm Silver Lake Partners, seats on Twitter’s board of directors.
