Coronation Street actor Jack P. Shepherd has shared a behind the scenes look at life on the ITV soap. However, Jack, 33, was left amused after the production crew missed one vital piece of information, while being impressed at the level of detail.
The level of detail is second to non.
The actor, who has played the role of problematic hairdresser David Platt in ITV’s Coronation Street since 2000, has been at the centre of some of the biggest storylines in the history of the soap, including raising awareness of male sexual assault.
Jack often shares clips to his social media of life on the set of the MediaCity UK based soap with his Instagram followers, delighting his thousands of fans.
Just two weeks ago, Jack shared a clip with fans of the moment Coronation Street was brought to an abrupt halt.
Today, in between takes, the dad-of-three has treated his 377,000 followers to a glimpse at one detailed prop.

While filming a scene in the soap’s famous cafe, Roy’s Rolls, Jack filmed himself opening his wallet that he was using as his alter ego.
After opening the brown leather holder, fans could see a loyalty card for Weatherfield’s mini-cab company, Street Cars, as well as several other plastic cards.
However, one thing that amused Jack was the credit card that he had been issued by the Coronation Street’s prop department.
Sharing a video of the card, Jack noticed that it had already expired three years ago, leaving him rather amused.

Jack’s glimpse into life backstage comes just weeks after Martin Sterling left his role on the show, after almost two decades.
Martin shared some stark revelations, admitting that he is single-handedly responsible for refusing to grant holidays to cast members.

Despite his decision, Martin stated that actors were understanding of his decision to refuse holiday requests.
“The thing that happens that people perhaps don’t realise is you also have cast holidays, ‘Can suchabody have this week’s holiday?’” he said.
He went on to add: “And you have to say, ‘No, they’re in a big story’… Am I really saying no to one of the biggest names on television, telling them that they can’t have a holiday?'”
Speaking on the Coronation Street podcast, Martin went on to say: “Of course the cast are entitled to holidays like everyone else.”
Earlier this year, Jack bravely revealed that he was battling an eating disorder after he shared a message from a troll.
Several social media users said that Jack “could do with a good feed”, while another said that “he doesn’t look great”, leaving Jack furious.
After seeing the negative comments, he replied: “I have an eating disorder. Thank you for being nice.”
