Jared Goff said the Los Angeles Rams only have to blame themselves for a “sick” failure to reach the NFL playoffs.
The Rams (8-7) made the Super Bowl last season, but their chances of a comeback are over after beating the San Francisco 49ers 34-31 at Levi’s Stadium on Saturday.

Robbie Gould’s field goal over time ended the Rams’ hopes of playing in the postseason.
Goff said: “It’s extremely frustrating, you never envision it when you start the year.
Goff did not blame the Rams for failing on a blackboard since losing to the New England Patriots last February.
“We were in a lot of games and we had a lot of chances to win games.” said the Los Angeles general. “The ball goes here or there sometimes and we have a completely different conversation right now.
“It has absolutely nothing to do with what happened last year.”
