Actor and comedian Jason Manford took to social media last night to share an amusing anecdote following an outing with his family. The father-of-six hopped on a train with his family, but his youngest daughter didn’t want to play ball when he suggested lying about her age to avoid buying her a ticket for the journey.
“Daughter, 6, resolutely refusing to say she’s 5 so I don’t have to pay for a train ticket is making me laugh so hard,” he wrote on Twitter in view of his 375,400 followers.
“She got angry at me for even suggesting it,” he continued.
“She ended the conversation with, ‘I’ve worked hard to get here!’
“To where? 6?! Proper belly laughs here!,” he signed off.
