Former Flipping Out star Jeff Lewis is ready to take another step in his relationship with Scott Anderson. After nine months of dating, Lewis says he is ready to tie the knot. The news is a surprise to many fans because Lewis had been in a relationship for ten years with his former partner and co-star of Flipping Out Gage Edward, but the couple never married – or even talked about marriage.
In a recent episode of his radio show SiriusXM Jeff Lewis Live, Lewis told his guest and Bravo boss Andy Cohen that he gets on well with “the new guy” – whom he met through from Millionaire Matchmaker Patti Stanger – and it’s “really cool”.
“I have to put a ring on it.” I’m going to have to put a ring on it, “said Lewis.
Cohen was also surprised by Lewis’ statement, asking, “Really? You are ready to marry. “And, Lewis replied,” I would consider putting a ring on it. “
The host of Watch What Happens Live continued to search for details, saying that Lewis and Anderson had been together for less than a year. He also pointed out that Lewis never spoke of getting engaged to Edward during their entire relationship.
The 49-year-old said there was “always some trepidation” when it came to getting engaged to Edward, and the couple eventually separated in January after a decade together. They continue to co-parent their two-year-old daughter Monroe Christine – who was born to a surrogate mother – but their battle for custody has become “ugly” in recent months.
On his radio show, Lewis has always been an open book about his life and relationships. And, he recently revealed that he was a “functional alcoholic” after turning to alcohol to overcome his separation from Edward.
Just two months after the separation of Lewis and Edward, Lewis began dating Anderson. However, over the summer, Lewis and Anderson took some time for their relationship so that Lewis could focus on his custody battle with Edward.
Finally, Jeff Lewis and Scott Anderson became Instagram officials in August.
Jeff Lewis Live is broadcast Tuesday, Thursday and Friday morning on SiriusXM 102, Radio Andy.
