Jim Ryan has Once Again Confirmed That Spider-Man 2 Will Be A PS5 Exclusive, And He has Stated That There Would Be “No Compromises”

Jim Ryan has given players of the PlayStation platform his word that the next Spider-Man 2 will be unique to the PlayStation 5 platform.

In a new interview with the Japanese publication Famitsu, Ryan stated that the developers at Insomniac Games had made “no compromises” about Spider-Man 2’s gameplay.

Ryan said, “We ask them (Insomniac) to focus on maximizing the functions of the PS5 and creating their best work.” This quote was taken from Famitsu and translated. Fans of the game have provided us with feedback indicating that they will be able to have a truly amazing experience and incredibly lovely aesthetics as a result.

Insomniac’s Narrative Director, Jon Paquette, stated earlier this month that the team was “working hard to try and make sure that this is the best game we’ve ever made.” We cannot wait to talk about it with all of you.

Concerning Spider-Man 2, very little information is currently available. The game was shown to the public for the first time in September 2021, at which time it was also disclosed that Venom would have a villainous role in the game. Earlier this year, Tony Todd, who provides the voice of Venom, divulged information that the video game would most likely be released in September.

“Looks like September! August will significantly increase the amount of publicity. I’ve been told that commercials will begin airing in August. Keep your grip… and don’t forget to hold your breath! Going to be a requirement,” he stated. Sony has purchased a significant amount of media-related advertising for September for Spider-Man 2 and for a “secret” game that will be released in October.

At the upcoming PlayStation Showcase, which will take place on May 24, 2023, additional information regarding Spider-Man 2 is anticipated to be disclosed.
