It’s no surprise to fans of Joaquin Phoenix that he suffers from anxiety and doesn’t particularly like price discounts. Some might even think that it was amazing that he attended and received his Golden Globe Award for best actor in a cinematographic drama for his representation of Arthur Fleck who embodies the character of the Joker. It was clear from Joaquin’s acceptance speech that he was a little nervous, but that didn’t bother his fans. In fact, many say that it was because of his anxiety that he was able to bring such realism to the character who redefined the comic character of DC. With people asking that Joaquin Phoenix win Best Actor Oscar (nominations for the 92nd Academy Awards will be announced on January 13, 2020), he’s more likely to get that nomination. Phoenix has also just won the President’s Award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, where he clearly explained how he feels about receiving awards.
If Joaquin Phoenix is really uncomfortable being congratulated and receiving praise for his work, it is better to recover quickly. Many people agree that his performance as a Joker, although a scary and real look at mental illness, was one of the brightest depictions of all time.
Although Joaquin has been nominated for an Oscar three times, many people believe that 2020 is his year to win, and many moviegoers believe that those who win the Golden Globes are destined to win the Oscars.

It’s not Joaquin’s first Golden Globe win either. The 45-year-old actor also won in 2006 for his role as Johnny Cash in Walk the Line. Many thought he had been snubbed at the Oscars for this role as well.
