Jordan: Appointment of Dr. Jaafar Hassan as director of King Abdullah’s office

The Jordanian monarch, King Abdullah II, issued a decree appointing Dr. Jaafar Hassan as director of the King’s Office, and King Abdullah also agreed to Ms. Haifa Turki’s resignation. His speech to Al-Khreisha, the king’s advisor on politics, also accepted the resignation of Dr. Kamal Qassem Al-Nasser, the king’s adviser, resigned from his post, just as before the resignation of His Excellency, Ms. Zeina Zaid Rashad Touqan, economic adviser to the Royal Hashemite Court.

Text of the Royal Jordanian Resolutions

With effect from June 5th, 2021 a royal decree was issued by which His Excellency Dr. Jaafar Hassan has been appointed Director of His Majesty’s Office.

The royal decree was also issued to approve the resignation of His Excellency Ms. Haifa Turki. His speech, Al-Khreisha, His Majesty the King’s Advisor on Politics, was published from her post as of 6/5/2021.

A royal decree was issued approving the resignation of His Excellency Dr. Kamal Qassem Al-Nasser, Advisor to His Majesty, has been accepted from his position effective June 5, 2021.

The Royal Decree was also issued to approve the resignation of Ms. Zeina Zaid Rashad Toukan, Economics Advisor at the Royal Hashemite Court, from 6/5/2021.
