Jussie Smollett, the actor accused of faking a hate crime against himself for career advancement and notoriety, is apparently back in the news. BET wrote that it is rumored that Smollett would return to Empire following comments from the show’s showrunner Brett Mahoney.
Mahoney recently said it would be strange to end the series without bringing Jussie Smollett back into the picture. During a conversation with TVLine, Bretty allegedly hinted that Jussie would return to the award-winning program.
To paraphrase what Mr. Mahoney said, it would be strange for him and the rest of the show’s producers not to include Jussie in the finale because of the essential role he once played. In other words, concluding the program without including it would be weird for viewers.
Mahoney said, “It is fair to say that this is under discussion,” before admitting, however, that he and the rest of the executives have yet to make the decision. Last June, the creator of the program, Lee Daniels, asserted with confidence on Twitter that Jussie would not come back at all.

Daniels wrote on the account, “Jussie will NOT return to Empire”, with particular emphasis on the word, “no”. at the beginning of the year.
The 37-year-old actor said two men followed him out of a metro restaurant and attacked him on the streets of Chicago. Smollett claims that they did a number of things to him, including throwing bleach on him, tying a noose around his neck, shouting insults and punching him in the face.
However, Chicago police later determined that Mr. Smollett may have been involved in the crime. He was charged with making a false police report several times. Later, all of the charges were dropped, creating a massive social media scandal.
Even Donald Trump, the President of the United States, has raised controversy on his social networks. Donald claims that he ordered the FBI to examine him.
